National Children’s Museum Launch Zone Celebrates Second Birthday, April 30
On April 30th the National Children’s Museum, located at the National Harbor will celebrate the second birthday of their “Launch Zone” attraction. This area encourages children and their families to think about ways to improve our world. The event will feature arts & crafts, performances and giveaways from National Harbor area businesses including:
- The Peeps Store will distribute fun stickers
- NCM will raffle off two tickets for free Segway rides around National Harbor.
- Ben & Jerry’s will distribute 100 “buy one cone, get a kid’s scoop free” coupons at the Launch Zone.
- CakeLove will give away coupons to buy
- Elevation Burger will offer small cookies and coupons for mini-milkshakes at the Launch Zone.
- Aromi Café will provide a sampling of cookies and coupons for party goers

Communikids! Language Classes for the Kiddos!!!
How cool is this? I cannot wait until my girl is old enough to attend these language classes! They also offer summer camp.
CommuniKids, is a language enrichment program that began in 2005 for children ages 1-8 years of age. They offer language enrichment classes in Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic and Portuguese. As a result of overwhelming demand and interest in language, CommuniKids is now operating a Spanish and French Immersion Preschool in DC and Falls Church for children ages 21/2 to 5 years of age. At Play Cafe in Reston
An indoor gym for the kiddos…. cafe for mom and/or dad…. summer camp…classes and more! I wish they had one of these a little closer to their house.
This looks like an amazing place and I am hoping to check it out soon.
